WASHING PROCEDURES

- Brush to removes stains, sand, and other foreign substances
- Apply the shampoo to the brush first
- Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo on the shoes
- Rub gently with our special brush
- Wipe off the foam and stains with a towel
- Air dry for several hours

TIPS FOR WASHING

As shown in the following, it's important not to try washing the whole shoe at once but to divide it into small parts and wipe off the shampoo from time to time.

- Wash the left side of the sole → Wipe off.
- Wash the right side of the sole → Wipe off.
- Wash the right side of the upper part → Wipe off
- Wash the left side of the upper part → Wipe off
- Wash the front of the upper part→ Wipe off

- Be careful with materials that discolor when exposed to water or dyed materials. Be sure to test the product in an unimportant place before use.

STEP 1)
REMOVE MUD, SAND, AND OTHER FOREIGN SUBSTANCES BY BRUSHING

First, brush to remove mud and sand.

STEP 2)
APPLY SHAMPOO TO THE BRUSH FIRST

Strike for a good balance between the amount of detergent and the water to foam. At the beginning, the brush is still dry so the shampoo can soak into the brush hair for better foaming. Make sure the foam are well dissolved onto the brush hair.Make sure to get the foam into the brush firmly.

PUT A GOOD AMOUNT OF SHAMPOO ON YOUR SHOES

Fabrics that easily absorb water won't foam well as the shampoo only contain a minimized amount of water si it's not a good match for fabrics that absorb water easily indeed.

If you find your shoes absorbing the foam quickly, wet the surface with water in advance as it helps to foam better. You might try wiping the entire shoe surface with a wet towel.

- If your shoes are covered with mud and sand, remove the shoelaces and clean separately.

STEP 4)
BRUSH GENTLY

Gently wash the shoes, make sure to spread the shampoo evenly on the shoe surface. Avoid rubbing too hard as it may leave damage on the shoe surface.

STEP 5)
WIPE OFF WITH A TOWEL

After washing, use a towel to wipe off the foam on the show surface. It is recommended to use a dry towel or a towel with good absorbency (e.g. microfiber towel).

Suede is a fabric that easily absorbs water and shampoo. If you leave the shampoo lathered up to lift dirt, it will absorb the dirt as well, so the trick is not to wash everything at once, but to divide it into parts.

For stubborn stains, repeat the cleaning process a several time.

STEP 6 )
AIR DRY FOR A SEVERAL HOURS

Suede fabrics dry better if you brush them softly from time to time after washing.

If you just leave the shoes to air dry without doing anything, the shoe surface might become uneven- remember to brush the surface from time to time so as to restore the original smooth texture. A soft bristle brush such as our horsehair brush can be used.

WASH PART BY PART THOROUGHLY

Suede is a fabric that easily absorbs water and shampoo so if you leave the shampoo on the shoe surface, it will foam up and lift the stain but then absorb all the stains. It's important not wash the entire shoe at once, but part by part.

It's recommended to wash the sole first.

- Wash the left side of the sole → Wipe off
- Wash the right side of the sole → Wipe off
- Wash the right side of the upper part → Wipe off
- Wash the left side of the upper part → Wipe off
- Wash the front of the upper part→ Wipe off

Be mindful to wash part by part thoroughly.
Water clean your brush after use.

POINT 2)
WASH THE ENTIRE SURFACE TO ENSURE SMOOTHNESS

When suede is partially wet and dried, wet stains may appear as shown in the picture. It stays on the shoe surface when it's dried.

So, it's essential to make sure that the entire surface is wet but not just a part of it, so as to avoid wet stains. It is recommended to wet the entire surface with water before washing.

FINISH WITH A MOISTURIZING SPRAY

There are three main cleaning procedures for genuine leather products (including suede).

1. Cleaning
2. Drying
3. Moisturizing

The cleaning process can be done easily with our shoe shampoo.
As for suede, it is recommended to use a moisturizing spray so as to make the cleaning result stay longer.
