STEP 1)
REMOVE MUD, SAND, AND OTHER FOREIGN SUBSTANCES BY BRUSHING
First, brush to remove mud and sand.
STEP 2)
APPLY SHAMPOO TO THE BRUSH FIRST
Strike for a good balance between the amount of detergent and the water to foam. At the beginning, the brush is still dry so the shampoo can soak into the brush hair for better foaming.
STEP 3)
APPLY AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF SHAMPOO ON THE SHOE AND WASH GENTLY WITH A SPECIAL BRUSH.
Gently wash the shoes, make sure to spread the shampoo evenly on the shoe surface. Avoid rubbing too hard as it may leave damage on the shoe surface.
Genuine leather products can be dye-dyed or pigment-dyed. Pigment of pigment-dyed products may peel off when washing with a brush, it is better to wash with hands or a towel.
STEP 4)
WIPE OFF WITH A TOWEL
After washing, use a towel to wipe off the foam on the show surface. It is recommended to use a dry towel or a towel with good absorbency (e.g. microfiber towel).
For stubborn stains, repeat the cleaning process a several time.
Wash the brush with water after use.
STEP 6)
AIR DRY FOR A SEVERAL HOURS
For genuine leather products (dye-dyed items), it's very important that the leather is properly moisturized. As the surface is dry after washing, be mindful to moisturize properly.
Beeswax is a recommended moisturizing cream for leather. Use a shoe keeper for drying and storing in order to prevent deforming.
If you use a shoe keeper when storing your leather shoes, you can keep them looking good without losing their shape.
POINT 1)
WASH THE ENTIRE SURFACE TO PREVENT UNEVENNESS
Genuine leather products (dye-dyed items) may develop wet stains if they are left air dry when partially wet. In order to avoid wet stains, the entire product must be moisturized evenly.
POINT 2)
USE MOISTURIZING CREAM
There are three main cleaning procedures for genuine leather products (dye-dyed items)
1. Cleaning
2. Drying
3. Moisturizing
The cleaning process can be done easily with our shoe shampoo.
Apply leather moisturizing cream to moisturize the leather surface so as to restore its smoothness.
Cleaning and moisturizing are two different activities. Using a moisturizing cream will make your leather goods last longer.
POINT 3)
DYE-DYED ITEMS AND PIGMENT-DYED ITEMS
Genuine leather products can be dye-dyed or pigment-dyed. Generally speaking, dye-dyeing applies colors onto the surface of the leather while pigment-dyeing applies color onto the inside of fiber. Pigment of pigment-dyed items may deteriorate over time that brushing hard may cause peel off the pigment. It is better to wash gently by hands or with a towel.
