Premium Wash Brushes

Commitment to Usability

There are many types of brushes. Their uses vary widely depending on the handle shape, bristle type, and bristle length.

There are many functional brushes, but is functionality alone enough? We wanted to create products that are both cute and easy to use — without compromising either.

ROSY LILY Shoe Shampoo cleans the outside of shoes. For an exterior brush, a compact palm-sized design is best. We believed an egg-shaped, streamlined form would be cute, easy to grip, and pleasant to use.

Cleaning power varies by bristle density, type, and length. Bristles that are too hard may clean well but damage shoes, making the right balance incredibly difficult.

The last thing we agonized over was the handle material. We debated endlessly between wood and plastic. Wood has a wonderful texture, looks cute, and doesn't require a mold — making it initially a very strong candidate.

However, wood inevitably corrodes at the base, turning dark and discolored. Over time, it can deform and bristles may fall out. In other words, durability was a problem.

In this regard, while plastic may not match wood's texture, its excellent durability makes it the right material for a shoe-washing brush.

No matter how cute it is, if it rots and breaks quickly, we felt we couldn't offer it as our product. That's why we chose plastic for the handle.

ROSY LILY brush overview

After much trial and error, we feel we've created a product we're truly proud of — with carefully chosen handle material, perfect sizing, bristle type, length, and density.

The densely planted pig bristles offer excellent cleaning power, while the round, adorable design makes you want to use it again and again — that's the feeling we've poured into this product.
